The Aparjods***Superior hotel and restaurant is located in Sigulda, one of the most beautiful Latvian towns. The Aparjods is a beautiful wooden building complex constructed in ethnographic style with roofs of wooden shingles and cane, comprising a restaurant, a hotel, conference rooms, a music club and a sauna with Arctic spa bath. The Aparjods has been established as an excellent place for both recreation and business. In 2000 it won the first award in the "Wooden Buildings of Latvia" competition, run by the Cultural Heritage Department of the European Council.
