Lebanon
The Lebanese Phalanges Party (Arabic: حزب الكتائب اللبنانية Ḥizb al-Katā'ib al-Lubnānīya), better known in English as the Phalange (Arabic: الكتائب al-Katā'ib), is a Christian democratic political party in Lebanon. The party played a major role in the Lebanese Civil War (1975–1990). In decline in the late 80s and 90s, the party slowly re-emerged in the early 2000s and is currently part of the March 14 Alliance.
