Fratelli's opened in 1986 by two visionary brothers. Brothers who decided to bet on something not yet developed in Portugal: the italian cuisine. They opened a small restaurant located at Olhos de Água, with typical italian dishes, made everyday from original italian recipes. Years later, a new member joins the Fratelli's family, the third brother. Brother who had just came from Switzerland full of new ideas and new horizons to the restaurant. Quickly, the restaurant became popular between tourists and locals, the reviews were amazing. Yet, years later, the visionary three brothers team separates, leaving one of the brothers with the restaurant: Mr. Fernando Reis - who dedicates until today to the restaurant with the same passion with which he began. Talking about Mr. Fernando, it's impossible not to mention his wife, Rosalina Reis, who joins the team to lead the kitchen. It was about that time, 1987, that the restaurant grown to the point that even a exponential mathematical function was inappropriate. This grown was the proof that the total dedication of the couple was rewarded. The passion was such that even their oldest son, André Reis, earned the same passion for the Italian Cuisine and became the right arm of his father. By the year 2010, the small restaurant wasn't enough anymore, so the Fratelli had a total "remake": new space, new brand image and a new location. A wider space located on the Olhos de Água downtown a few meters from the beach. Contemporary décor, a menu with new choices, more diversified and developed. The new space was opened with the hard work, love and dedication of the three vital elements of Fratelli. They keep visioning, searching, creating and applying new ideas from all over the world, merging them in the true italian food.
