The national anthem of the Republic of the Congo is called "La Congolaise" in French. Here are the lyrics in French and their English translation:

En ce jour le soleil se lève
Et notre Congo resplendit.
Une longue nuit s'achève,
Un grand bonheur a surgi.

Chantons tous avec ivresse
Le chant de la liberté.
Refrain:
Congolais, debout fièrement partout,
A l'œuvre nous voulons être
Tes vaillants héros, peuple souverain,
T'ont ramené la liberté.

Toujours unis, nous serons
Pour bâtir notre pays nouveau.
Toujours fidèles, au postes de combat,
Prêts à faire face à l'ennemi.

Nous te suivrons fidèles
Pays, dans ta marche vers l'avant,
Et te défendrons partout,
Dans la paix comme dans le combat.

On this day the sun rises
And our Congo shines.
A long night is over,
A great joy has emerged.

Let us all sing with intoxication
The song of freedom.
Chorus:
Congolese, stand up proudly everywhere,
We want to be at work
Your valiant heroes, sovereign people,
Have brought you back freedom.

Always united, we will be
To build our new country.
Always faithful, at the posts of combat,
Ready to face the enemy.

We will follow you faithfully
Country, in your march forward,
And defend you everywhere,
In peace as in combat.
