Nikolai Alexandrovich Bulganin (Russian: Никола́й Алекса́ндрович Булга́нин ; 11 June 1895 – 24 February 1975) was a Soviet politician who served as Minister of Defense (1953–1955) and Premier of the Soviet Union (1955–1958) under Nikita Khrushchev, following service in the Red Army and as defence minister under Joseph Stalin.
