Object description

Raghunath Temple is located under the Water of Mangla Dam at Mirpur District, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistan.. This temple is dedicated to God Shiva. We can't see this temple because the temples and whole of Mirpur city are sunk in Mangla Dam after the construction of Mangla Dam began in 1961. Now The remains of Old Mirpur are now under the waters of the Mangla Dam. As water levels recede, the remains of old houses and Hindu Temples reappear too. This temple is one of the historical temples in Mirpur City.
