In 2006 Olive and Oil opened its doors in the bustling village that forms the heart of Umhlanga Rocks. As a family owned business, we strived to carry that passion for family forward, by creating a family-friendly environment for our guests. We looked to the Mediterranean for our inspiration, where family and the finest foods are the key ingredients to life. The Olive has had a huge impact on all the important civilisations of the Mediterranean for at least 4000 years, evoking feelings of harmony, vitality and health.
